From Hamburg (south): Take the A23 motorway up to Heide, where it continues seamlessly into the B5. Follow the B5 north until the Tönning exit (approximately 1 km after crossing the Eider bridge). In Tönning, follow the signs for "Historischer Hafen" — you'll arrive directly at the hotel. Approximately 1.5 hours (120 km) from Hamburg.
From the north: From Hamburg via the A7 motorway to Schleswig/Schuby. From there to Husum, then take the B5 south towards Heide/Hamburg until Tönning.
Tönning has its own railway station — directly in the town. Direct connections from Hamburg via Husum. From the station it is about 10 minutes on foot to the hotel.
